Bruce Jenner or now Caitlyn Jenner is an american athlete and reality TV star. Bruce Jenner came out of the closet in 2015 and admitted that he is a transgender woman, since then his popularity became even larger. Bruce’s estimated net worth is around 100$ million and growing.

Early life

William Bruce Jenner was born on October 28, 1949 in Mount Kisco, New York. His parents Esther and William Hugh Jenner raised Bruce in Mount Kisco and his father was an arborist. Bruce has two sisters, Pam and Lisa and his brother, Burt, died in a car accident in 1976.

Bruce had a normal childhood growing up with his two sisters and a brother. He was diagnosed with dyslexia at an early age but managed to finish high school and after graduation he earned a football scholarship and went to Graceland College. His football career ended soon after his knee injury.

However, his coach recognized his talent and switched him to decathlon. He graduated from Graceland College and got a degree in physical education in 1973.

Olympic medalist


In 1972 Jenner took fifth place in U.S. Olympic trials in Oregon and trained even harder afterwards. He managed to make a 22 second gap between him and other runners and got into the Olympic team. In Summer Olympics in 1972 he took tenth place and continued training afterwards.

He married his girlfriend Chrystie Crownover and made his living by selling insurance at night. He trained during the day. In 1975 Bruce won the national championship in France and won a gold medal in 1975 in Pan American Games. In 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal Bruce Jenner made a home run and set and won a gold medal with new world record score.

Career after Olympics

Olympic athletes didn’t enjoy too much fame back in the day, but in the time that Jenner won his gold medal, Cold War was raging. Since decathlon, 100 meter dash and basketball were usually won by Soviet’s, Bruce was the right guy at the right place and time. He was adored by all Americans and offers came in pouring for him after the Games.

Bruce appeared on the cover of Sport’s Illustrated in 1979 and became a spokesperson for Tropicana, Buster Brown Shoes and Minolta.

He also appeared on the box of cereal brand called Wheaties and became their spokesperson. Even after Bruce came out as a trans-woman, he continued to be the respective member of Wheaties team.

TV and Movie career

Bruce Jenner used his Olympic glory to appear on many TV shows and movies. Everybody wanted to see the national hero and his first public appearance was on the “Can’t stop the music” in 1980. Movie was a disaster and he was even nominated for Golden Raspberry Award for Worst Actor and the movie won the prize for worst movie.

In 1980 he starred in the show Golden moment: An Olympic love story and Grambling’s white tiger in 1981. He also replaced Erik Estrada in six episodes of the show CHiPs. In 1989 Bruce played himself in a comedy Dirty Tennis. He also appeared in many game shows and TV talk shows.

Bruce earns by giving speeches and he is paid between 20,000$ and $40,000$ per speech. Some sources report that Bruce (Caitlyn) requests 100,000$ for appearance. His fortune might grow to 500$ million in 10 years as Wortholino predict but his complete earnings are not yet known. Bruce has around 2 million Twitter followers.

Bruce licensed his name as Bruce Jenner’s Westwood Centers for Nautilus and Aerobics in 1980 to David Cirotto. He also has a company called Bruce Jenner Aviation that sells aircraft supplies and he was a vice president for software application JennerNet.

In 2016 Bruce, now Caitlyn, was chosen to be the face of H&M sport. Bruce also appeared on the “Keeping up with the Kardashians” from the start to 2015 when he got his own show “I am Cait”.

Personal life

Before coming out, Bruce was married three times. His first marriage was with his then girlfriend, Chrystie Scott which lasted from 1972 to 1981. He has two children from this marriage, son Burton and daughter Cassandra. The marriage ended in 1981 and Bruce married right after the divorce with Linda Thompson. Bruce has two children with Linda, Brandon and Sam Brody Jenner.

In 1986 Bruce divorced again and in 1991 married for the third time with Kris Kardashian. Together with Kris, Bruce has two daughters, Kendall and Kylie. Bruce remained married to Kris until 2014 and in 2015 Bruce came out as a trans-woman.
