After finding out about those health problems, Cooper became a partner in a firm that specializes in investments in the energy sector called Scotia Howard and Weil. The company organizes an annual Energy Conference to attract representatives for top-level investors, public energy companies, private equity firms, private energy companies, and other companies from all over the world. However, before he started pursuing his career in that world of investments, Cooper worked as a salesman selling seismic results to oil and gas companies, the very industry he works today. After only three years of working as a salesman, he decided to join Scotia Howard Weil and it was like he was born to work there. Very quickly, Cooper became one of the best managers in the office where he is called “Coop”.

Cooper worked for 16 years at Howard Weil. He was very important in positioning the company as a leader in the energy sector.

In 2015, during the weeks leading to Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans, “Coop” hosted his own segment on “The Dan Patrick Show” called, “Manning on the Street”. On September 13, 2015, he joined the actual broadcast team of Fox NFL Kickoff.

A year after that, AJ Capital Partners added manning to their executive team. In their official announcement, on March 31, 2016, AJ Capital said that Cooper joins the team as Senio Managing Director – Investor Relations, focusing primarily on new business development and managing and curating investor relationships.
