Jason Biyo, Numb – Review

Jason Biyo, an artist who is new to the R’n’B/pop scene but he is, for sure, making a huge entrance with his first single ‘Numb’ from the debut album, N.U.M.B. It will be released on June 5th. The EP will contain 7 tracks and after this single, we are sure that it will go viral.

When you first play this track, you will stop for a moment because the familiar sound of the ‘90s/early ‘00s is very calming and it’s making you want to show off your moves. The lyrics are about being ‘numb’ to untrue supporters.

We all felt that at some point in our lives, and we know how it is to be always put down by someone around you when you are trying your best to make it. That is why we can all relate to this anthem. The song starts with simple beats and beautiful and soft vocals of Jason, also in some parts there is a harmony of voices to make this sound more powerful and catchy.

Jason surprises us with his range of vocals, which is very wide. The song itself builds up and reaches its peak with an amazing vocal solo that explodes in a rich, almost acapella like part. I don’t know how, but Jason is making us think that singing is very easy, because of his effortless transitions.

Considering that his first single is amazing, I must say that I can only see a very bright future for this Artist. Jason is yet to unleash his potential and explore music in his way. I don’t know about you, but I am dying to hear more from this very talented singer.

If you haven’t hopped on Jason Biyo’s train yet, you are missing out. The next stop after his first single ”Numb” is the whole album and even If you have to wait for a while, it will pay off for sure!
