Raymond Huger net worth is around $40 million. He is an American businessman, entrepreneur, and tech genius.
And when we first said, “businessman”, that is not what he originally was. He IS the President and Chief Executive Officer of Paradigm Solutions International which is a software engineering juggernaut. In their portfolio, the company is described as a trusted provider of business continuity planning software and certified consulting services to commercial and government organizations alike. However, before he co-founded this company in 1991, Raymond Huger had been working for IBM for 25 years as an Area Staff Director and Regional Manager. He practically kept pushing IBM into new projects and was responsible for a number of their new operations.
Ray practically built this company from ground up as a startup company to around $60 million in annual sales; however, he had to sell it in 2004 to a government contractor. The new owner kept him and that is where he works right now.
Huger graduated from Baruch College with a Bachelor of Business administration (B.B.A.), Business Administration, Management and operations in 1974. Immediately after that, in 1976, he graduated from Fordham University with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) where he majored in marketing management.
Raymond was born on October 17, 1946, in the United States of America. Besides being a famous tech engineer and marketing expert, Ray is also famous for being the husband of “The Real Housewives of Potomac” star Karen Huger. The two of them have an adult son Brandon and a teenage daughter Rayvin who is currently in college.
“The Real Housewives of Potomac”
Raymond Huger came under the public radar after his wife, Karen, appeared in Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Potomac”. The season 2 of this show came to a close in July 2017, and this couple certainly left a mark on the show. And in that show, we found out that Karen is, allegedly, Raymond’s “Lady Luck”. Raymond has actually been the CEO of Paradigm for 20 years. However, before that, he had given 25 years of his life working for IBM. That means that Karen didn’t really marry Raymond – a millionaire. The two of them made the fortune together. Reports say that Karen put her career on hold for whole 17 years to help her husband in his business.
Raymond Huger Financial Problems
At the end of the second season of “The Real Housewives of Potomac”, it was revealed that Raymond Huger is in some big financial problems. In July 2017, The Washington Post released a report that revealed Raymond Huger owes nearly $1.5 million in back-due federal taxes, and his company owes more than $3 million.
Ahead of Season 3 of the show, Karen said that she “was in shock” when she found out that her husband is in a bad financial situation, and she said that she had no idea about that before The Washington Post story came out. However, she decided to stay by him.
“My thing was to be there for him. And I’ll say that bad things happen to great people. Ray’s a phenomenal human being. I could say it scared me. We didn’t know what we were gonna do, how we were gonna make it. I thought the world was coming to an end,” Karen shared. “But he assured me that everything was going to be OK, as long as I stayed in my lane. And that’s what he meant, too. Let him handle it. It’s his business.”
And she did “stay in her lane”. It was difficult for her, but she followed his instructions, prayed for him, was there for him, and kept the family together. Ray has taken care of his things and everything is fine right now.
“I am grateful that I still have great health to enjoy this life,” Karen shared. “It is a great place to be in. Long time getting here, though. But it is in the rearview mirror now!”
We will have a chance to follow the adventures of this couple and their family in this year’s season of RHOP.
